Pichu-ayurvedic-treatment

Ayurveda is renowned for its safe and efficient treatments, and its theories have been reexamined and revised over time to offer the most comprehensive treatment. Aching and swollen joints and bones can be relieved with the Pichu massage. Pichu is an Ayurvedic palliative therapy designed specifically to address physical diseases. The term “Pichu” in Ayurveda refers to padding or sponging, and the massage is distinctive since it is based on ages-old Ayurvedic knowledge. The Pichu ayurveda procedure belongs to the Bahya Snehana category, which is also known as “external application of therapeutic oils.” Ayurvedic pichu therapy is a palliative treatment. It is advised to treat cranial nerve diseases brought on by Vata imbalances. It can also be utilised in accordance with the needs and symptoms of the patient.

How does ayurvedic medicine in Pichu work?

Ayurvedic oils are applied on a sterile cotton pad and then placed over the injured body part, such as swollen joints or aching muscles, as part of the Pichu therapy procedure. For a few minutes or hours, the cotton pad is left on the injured body portion (depending on the severity of your condition). To keep the pad in place, a bandage is tied over it. This procedure is carried out on each sore body part until the allotted time has passed.

  • The Pichu therapy follows the same three steps as all other Ayurvedic treatments:
  • The preparations and procedure before treatment, also known as Purva Karma
  • The healing procedure, also referred to as Pradhana Karma
  • Following up after treatments, which is Paschat Karma.
